Purpose of the role
We are looking for a Business Partner to join our Toi Tangata People & Performance team providing support and guidance across all our sites.
This is a pivotal role partnering with managers to deliver high-quality HR and people services that reflect both best practice and our Ngati Whatua Orakei values.
You will play a key role in supporting line managers, leading ER case management, and embedding core P&P processes such as goal setting, salary reviews, performance matters, and workforce planning.
The role is varied and fast-paced, balancing advisory expertise with cultural competency, ensuring kaimahi are supported to thrive.

Essential
Must hold a tertiary NZ HR or legal qualification and have recent understanding in current NZ
At least 2-3 years working as a Human Resource Business Partner with a strong focus on ER issues, policies and enhancing performance
Must be used to partnering within a business with proven shifts in performance metrics
Strong cultural competency ideally gained from working in an iwi or similar context
Proven capability around accuracy, management of privacy and disciplined management of files
Desirable
Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS) and confident with technology.
