OverviewVentia is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead our Playground Maintenance team across Auckland.

Your team will be responsible for auditing sites, managing schedules, coordinating subcontractors for larger repairs, and ensuring all equipment is safe for public use.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in Excel spreadsheets, understands quoting processes, and enjoys working closely with field teams.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct audits and safety checks on playground sitesManage and update daily schedules and GPS tracking systemsCoordinate subcontractors for complex repairsReview reports and ensure complianceLead and support a close-knit team of 6 operatorsEnsure timely completion of scheduled maintenancePrepare and manage quotations to ensure compliance and profitabilityTop 3 PrioritiesEnsuring public safety through equipment auditsManaging and completing maintenance schedulesQuoting work accurately and profitablyAbout YouMaintenance qualification preferred but not essential / requiredExperience managing maintenance teamsStrong auditing and coordination skillsCommercial acumen and stakeholder engagementComfortable using technology and spreadsheetsMinimum Full Class 1 Driver LicenceDiversityVentia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
