Lead Process Technician

Job DescriptionAbout the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Process Technician to join our team.

You will run the Wetmix Milk Treatment process (milk reception, separators, pasteurisers, and standardising line) and set milk planning direction for the site.Our shifts allow for flexibility and work-life balance with 4 days off between shifts.

Based on a rotational roster, you will follow this shift pattern : 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off (12.5-hour shifts).

Key responsibilities includeOperation of critical manufacturing equipment within designed parametersEnsuring products are manufactured in-spec and right first timeMaintaining a high standard in the manufacturing environmentWorking within detailed standard practices and instructions, with support from Line, Process, and Maintenance Leads.

Capable of adjusting operational variations based on situational needs.Problem solving and follow-up across the plantSupporting maintenance activities through permit issuingSkills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have : Previous experience as a process technician, including fault findingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on continuous improvementHands-on experience with manufacturing systems and equipmentExcellent communication skills and leadership ability to mentor a teamAbout UsSynlait is a dynamic, purpose-led milk nutrition company committed to Doing Milk Differently for a Healthier World!
