The Role

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality tax advice and compliance services.

Your key responsibilities will include :

Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Providing expert advice on tax strategies, including corporate tax, GST, and trust tax matters.

Working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored tax solutions.

Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects, supporting clients in maximizing tax efficiency.

Mentoring junior team members and collaborating with senior accountants on complex cases.

About You

2 years of tax experience in a New Zealand public practice accounting firm.

CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification, with solid technical tax knowledge.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships.

A high level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Motivation to stay current with tax legislation and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
