In this role, you will take the lead in developing compelling, client-focused bid submissions that directly influence the projects we win and how we present our strengths to the market.This is more than a writing role — you will set the standard for quality and consistency across all non-price submissions, coach subject matter experts, and play a key role in shaping our tendering strategy.About the roleAs our Lead Bid Writer, you will : Lead the preparation of persuasive, high-quality tender submissions.Collaborate with estimators, engineers, and project leads to capture technical input and translate it into clear, compelling content.Tailor bids to align with evaluation criteria, client expectations, and United Civil's competitive edge.Manage timelines, compliance, and document control across the full bid lifecycle.Drive continuous improvement by developing a bid library and lifting writing standards across the business.Contribute strategically through weekly tender meetings and by shaping our approach to key opportunities.About youYou are an accomplished bid professional with a strong record of producing winning submissions in construction, infrastructure, or a related sector.

You combine exceptional writing skills with commercial acumen and can confidently engage with technical experts and senior leaders.
