Overview

Disability Support Services (DSS), a business unit within the Ministry of Social Development, is seeking to engage a qualified audit supplier to provide Enhanced Audit Services. This initiative aims to strengthen and expand DSS's provider audit program, focusing on assessing the quality and safety of disability support services delivered by DSS contracted providers.

The expanded audit capacity will allow DSS to increase audit frequency, broaden focus areas, and enhance knowledge of provider practices, with an emphasis on service quality and safeguarding.

DSS plans to issue an RFP with an indicative release date of mid-August 2025. Further details will be available upon release.

The indicative release date marks the expected start of the procurement process, with the FPO closing on this date. Dates are provided by calendar quarter.

The project is currently in the initial development (concept) phase, where options for future procurement are being investigated. Budget considerations are yet to be confirmed.
