Senior Business Analyst
Take the lead in shaping and delivering complex projects that make a real impact across Napier City Council. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to drive projects from concept to completion, providing expert analysis, business case development, financial evaluation, and strategic insight. Your work will ensure solutions meet business needs, deliver value, and support the Council’s long‑term objectives.
You’ll play a pivotal role in process improvement, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing, collaborating across teams to turn ideas into practical, high‑quality outcomes. This is your opportunity to influence decision‑making, strengthen relationships across the organisation, and contribute to projects that improve services for our community.
This position will be part of the Strategy & Urban Development Directorate (Urban), which leads future planning, policy development, and compliance to promote sustainable growth and enhance community well‑being. The directorate supports businesses and developers through regulatory service excellence. It oversees projects to ensure efficient resource utilisation and the delivery of tangible community benefits.

What We Offer
This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity working 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. You will be based in Napier.
The annual salary package for this role is between $105,700-$124,300 (including KiwiSaver), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience.
