As the sole payroll expert, you'll play a strategic part in ensuring payroll compliance, accuracy, and efficiency, while also working closely with Finance, HR, and leadership teams across both countries.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full payroll cycles across NZ (weekly / monthly) and AU (fortnightly), including new starters, variations, and terminationsEnsure legal compliance and accurate tax processing across all jurisdictionsProvide timely and accurate reporting to internal stakeholders and external auditorsReconcile payroll journals, PAYE, and superannuation contributions as part of month-end processesFoster strong cross-functional relationships and act as the go-to expert for all payroll-related queriesWhat you will bringYou have 2–5 years' experience managing end-to-end payroll across both NZ and AU, ideally within a complex multi-site environment.

You are detail-oriented with a strong grasp of payroll legislation and compliance.

Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to confidently liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
