Salary range : $85,225 – $103,071 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.
Responsibilities
You'll work within a cross-functional team to establish a robust, scalable and secure platform that enables extensible user-centred products to be implemented on the Salesforce platform.
Supported by Digital Practices, the team plays a key role in enabling smarter service delivery and better outcomes for learners, whanau, and educators.
About you
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
To be successful in this role, you will bring :
Proven experience developing scalable OmniStudio components (FlexCards, OmniScripts, Data Mappers, Integration Procedures)
Strong expertise in Flow Builder (record-triggered flows, subflows, scalable automation design)
Solid understanding of the Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, sharing sets)
Hands-on experience with key Salesforce clouds (Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Experience Cloud)
Familiarity with DevOps tooling and CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git, SFDX)Configuration-first approach expertise, using App Builder, dynamic forms, record types
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions
Working knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Experience with Salesforce reports and dashboards
Experience with data upload tools
Prior experience within the New Zealand Government would be an advantage but not essential
The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct

This includes oversight of digital services in the Ministry, leading the cross-agency strategy "Connected Ako : Digital and Data for Learning", enabling education system-wide planning and investment in digital services, and ensuring the Ministry's alignment with broader best-practice government digital and data direction and guidance.
