Pay Rate : £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Educationare looking for a dedicated 1 : 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Christchurch area. As a 1 : 1 TA , this role involves providing personalised support to a pupil with special educational needs (SEN), helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities as a 1 : 1 Teaching Assistant :

• Provide tailored 1 : 1 support to meet the specific needs of the pupil.
• Assist with classroom tasks and adapt learning materials to support understanding.
• Encourage positive behaviour and build the pupil’s confidence and independence.
• Monitor progress and work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.
• Support the pupil in managing emotional or behavioural challenges effectively.
