Full‑time, 40 hours per week
Shifts – Monday‑Sunday
Day shift 08 : 00‑16 : 30 , Late Shift 11 : 00‑19 : 30 , on call 1 in 8 weeks and 1 in 4 late shifts

We’re looking for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join our Estates team based at The Wellington Hospital. This role is vital in providing a high standard of workmanship maintaining the existing structure and fabric of the building on a daily basis.
What You’ll Do
- Provide a high standard of workmanship maintaining the existing electrical structure and fabric of the building on a daily basis
- Work to a planned preventative maintenance system in accordance with a programme of work as directed by the Estates Manager / Chief Engineer
- Provide an emergency call‑out service outside normal working hours as part of the estates department shift rota
- Be responsible for all tools, equipment and uniform provided by the company
- Undertake other duties as may be directed by the Estates Manager / Chief Engineer
What You’ll Bring
Training in relevant discipline e.g. City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Electrical or equivalentA good understanding of electrical systemsRelevant Qualifications (C&G or Equivalent to level 2 or level 3)Previous experience of working in the electrical maintenance industry ideally within a hospitalBenefits
