The role :

As the Trade Sales Consultant for the Newmarket store, you’ll look after all trade customers and be responsible for the following duties :

  • Maintaining and nurturing existing trade client relationships
  • Proactively seeking and engaging new trade clients weekly
  • Admin - sales processes, quotes, orders & follow-ups
  • Managing call cycles and business development leads
  • Staying up to date on the latest trends & technologies
  • Being a brand ambassador during every client interaction
  • Ensuring CRM systems and pipelines are kept up to date
  • Regular travel around the Auckland region
  • You will have :

  • Must have IES Certificate in Residential Lighting Design or other Lighting Design certifications, CRM, CAD, and Dialux. OR Graduate Cert in Science & Technology (Lighting)
  • Strong relationship building ability with excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Proven sales expertise, able to deliver tailored solutions and drive commercial outcomes
  • Organised and adaptable mindset, with solid problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Collaborative and growth-focused working style - you work well in a team as well as individually and embrace continuous improvement
  • Mandarin speaking bonus however not mandatory
