This is an exciting time to be part of our journey and in return for your extraordinary talent, we'll provide a high performing values-based team environment where people are at our heart.About The RoleAs a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be a trusted business partner, providing insightful and comprehensive financial advice and support to the Southern Cross leadership team (HSLT) and their senior leadership teams (SLT).
This includes provision of the analysis, challenge and guidance that proactively inform key business decisions.Responsibilities also include : Supporting the financial planning process by partnering with the business to achieve financial and member outcome targets and understanding industry trends.Ensuring financial implications are understood from a governance perspective and adhering to accounting policies are crucial.Collaboration with Financial Control and Actuarial functions is necessary, as is challenging the status quo and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Building trusted relationships and championing collaborative ways of working to achieve overall objectives.About You7+ years financial insight and advice experience.Strong mathematical and numerical proficiency.Strong modelling skills using Excel or other systems.Ability to effectively prioritise and manage workloads.Ability to use data to identify underlying trends to support decision making and problem solve.Proven quantitative and qualitative analytical and evaluative skills, incorporating problem solving, decision making and creative thinking at a senior level.Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.Experience in financial services (Exposure to insurance preferred).
