About the Role

As an Application Support Analyst - Radiology, you'll be hands‑on in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising the business applications that underpin Health NZ's success. Working closely with your Team Lead, business stakeholders, and technical experts, you'll ensure our applications are reliable, efficient, and continuously improving. From resolving incidents and supporting users to enhancing system performance and collaborating with development teams, you'll be at the centre of delivering stable, effective solutions. You'll bring proven experience supporting Radiology or imaging‑related clinical applications, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of systems that are vital to patient care.

We focus on making applications simpler, more reliable, and better aligned to the needs of our people and patients. With dedicated teams structured around the applications and products they support, we deliver stability, faster improvements, and real value to clinicians, operational leaders, and end users nationwide. By working closely with our Digital Delivery function, we're ensuring digital services aren't just fit-for-purpose but truly enable better healthcare across Aotearoa.

About you

You're a natural problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and a strong focus on service. With hands‑on experience in application support, you're confident working across systems and tools, building relationships, and driving positive outcomes.

• 2–3 years' application support or IT experience, with proven troubleshooting skills
• Radiology systems experience is a requirement for this role.
• Experience across applications, systems, and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management), ideally in healthcare
• Knowledge of operating systems, databases, cloud platforms, and / or scripting, with a focus on IT security best practice
• Relevant IT qualification (or equivalent experience); ITIL certification is a bonus
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to create a safe, supportive, and high‑performing environment
