We are looking for a casual RN who is flexible to pick up ADHOC shifts and is available to work weekends.

Key Accountabilities :

Completing initial assessment and subsequent re-assessments.

Delivering and delegating planned care.

Accurately communicating and recording care requirements and health status.

Re-assessing and evaluating planned care as required.

Participating and contributing to care review and communicating with relevant health professionals.

Advocating on behalf of residents.

Providing residents, relatives, and significant others with timely and pertinent information.

Consulting with residents and / or family / whanau on issues relating to the resident and their care.

Prioritising, directing, and monitoring care staff activities.

Providing informal training as required.

Supervising care staff (Health Care Assistants and Enrolled Nurses).

Replacing staff as needed in consultation with the Manager / on-call Manager.

Providing feedback to the Unit Manager and relevant others on matters affecting the day-to-day operation of the ward / unit and untoward events.
