About the role

Our team of Data Centre Operators is expanding, and we are looking for 3 new operators to start with us in February 2026. As a Data Centre Operators, you’ll join a supportive team working to ensure our cloud‑based infrastructure is secure, available, and reliable—24 / 7. Working from the TEAM IM Wellington Office, located across from Queens Wharf in the Wellington CBD, you will :

• Provide level one support / respond to basic customer queries
• Liaise with / escalate to our wider team for support with more complex issues
• Monitor our systems and respond to alerts / issues
• Generate reports and maintain documentation
• Follow company and industry standards, policies and procedures
• Make the most of professional development and technical training opportunities
• Participate in technical training and ensure your relevant Oracle certifications are current

This is an office‑based role supporting our customers on a 24 / 7 basis, so you must be willing to participate in a rotating roster which will include night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

The remuneration for this role will vary depending on your shift timings but the base hourly rate is $30 per hour for standard day shifts, plus extra for nights and weekends.

Due to the nature of our rotating rosters, the number of hours you work each week will vary, however you will work a minimum of 32 hours per week on average.

Who are we looking for?

This is an entry level IT role. You don’t need extensive qualifications or specific experience in an IT specific role. However, you do need to be a tech‑savvy, team player with proven experience in customer service and a willingness to learn.

In addition, we will be looking for you to demonstrate the following on your application :

Experience with or interest in Oracle tools is a plus, but not required.

As shifts may fall outside of public transport hours, you will need to live within walking / cycling distance or have a full driver licence and reliable access to a vehicle to get to work.

All applicants must be either a New Zealand Citizen or New Zealand Permanent Resident due to the secure nature of the technical environment our team works in.
