We're looking for a proactive and people-focused Service Coordinator to join our District Nursing team in Christchurch.
This is a permanent, full-time role where you'll be the central link that keeps everything running smoothly.
Our service operates seven days a week, so some flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends is essential.As a Service Coordinator, you'll be the heartbeat of our operations, making sure our nursing teams are where they need to be, when they need to be there, so that our clients receive seamless, timely, and high-quality care.
Supporting not only District Nursing but also our Specialty Clinics, including Diabetes, Stomal, Infusion, Continence, and Wound Care, you will work closely with our Registered Nurse Coordinators to ensure visits are scheduled efficiently, queries are resolved quickly, and every day runs as smoothly as possible.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and love the satisfaction of supporting a purpose-driven team, this is the role for you.Key Aspects : Working as part of our Service Coordination Team, you will : Use our client management system to schedule visits in line with service needs.Manage queues, follow-ups, and nurse requests across clinical services.Maintain a clear and up-to-date live overview of service delivery.Communicate effectively with clinical managers, coordinators, and teams, responding proactively to queries and concerns.Support smooth service delivery across Canterbury by knowing our suburbs inside-out and using electronic patient management systems effectively.He momo / About youTo be successful in this role, you will have recent experience working with clinical teams and administration teams ideally in the healthcare sector, or in a role where you have used computer systems to allocate workloads, problem solve and think critically, all whilst maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.You will also have the following skills : You will thrive under pressure and brings energy, resilience, and a solutions-focused mindset.Excellent communication skills, you'll be working with a wide range of diverse personalities.Clinical knowledge is an advantage.
