The Foundation and Pathways portfolio empowers learners by building essential academic, digital, and study skills.
Programmes are inclusive and flexible, focusing on learner confidence, engagement, and progression, and serve as accessible pathways into higher-level study.
As an Academic Staff Member - Study and Employment, you'll deliver Skills for Academic Study courses within Level 3 & 4 Bridging Programmes, supporting learner success.
You'll work collaboratively with tutors, managers, and stakeholders to meet portfolio objectives and uphold Ara's mission and vision.

A relevant tertiary qualification
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
Experience in teaching Academic Writing and Study Skills to adults
Competence and flexibility to teach Academic Writing and Study Skills in the diverse Ara contexts offered at Ara.
An interest in / experience using a range of teaching methods and technologies in a tertiary setting
Vision, innovation and a commitment to facilitating own and others' learning.
Capable of supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes.
Works collaboratively and co-operatively, contributes to teams.
Passionate about writing skills, academic writing and APA referencing.
