Key Responsibilities – Construction Supervisor Jobs Dunedin

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations for civil infrastructure projects, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, and within programmed timeframes.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor diverse crews, driving a positive culture of teamwork, professionalism, and development.
• Champion health and safety best practice, conduct regular site inspections, tool‑box talks, and ensure compliance with all legislative and company requirements.
• Interpret project plans, specifications, and construction drawings, liaising productively with Project Engineers, Foremen, clients, and subcontractors.
• Allocate resources, organise materials, plant, and people to optimise site productivity while controlling costs.
• Monitor work quality, resolve operational challenges, provide technical guidance, and facilitate prompt problem‑solving on site.
• Maintain accurate daily records, site documentation, and report progress and issues to project management teams.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members, ensuring effective and inclusive communication and prompt resolution of concerns.
