Mitre 10 Wellington Central is opening a new store in Tory Street, Wellington and we are looking for a team member to work in our new Paint Department, so we would be really keen to hear from you ifyou have a passion for ensuring our customers get the right product and anexceptional level of service every time they walk through our doors – going theextra mile will be the norm for you.

If transforming a space or surface with colour is your passion, then your destination is our Paint & Decorating department as weare seeking a motivated customer focused individual to play a key role in ourColour Centre (Paint) Department.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Productknowledge of, or a background in paint
• Aflare for colour and interior design
• DIYor trade related knowledge
• Abilityto work as part of a team
• Abilityto manage a varied and busy work load
• Physicalfitness and able to stand for long periods
• Enthusiasmand team spirit
• Strongorganisational skills with the ability to think ahead and offer innovativesolutions

Position details

This is position is a full time role (40 hours), including one weekend day.
