Job description

Overview

TBI Health was created with a simple idea : to help people with pain, illness, or injury. TBI Health has grown since 2001. From 2016 we partnered with Southern Cross and together we are passionate about ensuring our clients get the right help, at the right time, to get them back on track and living meaningful lives.

We offer an attractive work environment to support staff wellbeing and growth. Our focus is to introduce new services for staff to become involved in and to help enhance their careers. It is important to TBI Health to maintain an equity-focused workplace culture where staff feel supported, enriched, and valued. As a NZ owned company, we position ourselves as a Te Tiriti partner with an ongoing commitment to health equity for Māori. Join us on this transformational journey of delivering tailored and quality healthcare services that meet the needs of our diverse Aotearoa.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our expanding Tauranga team. Imagine combining your excitement for physiotherapy with an incredible lifestyle in Tauranga, surrounded by stunning beaches, great cafes, and endless outdoor activities. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

This is a diverse and rewarding role with the opportunity to work across different services, including treating a variety of acute MSK injuries and working across a range of ACC contracts including ICP, VRS, and PAIN. You’ll also be part of an experienced multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Hand Therapists, and Psychologists, who are committed to delivering excellent care to our local community.

Ideally, we are looking for a full-time experienced Physiotherapist, but we welcome applications from intermediate to senior experience levels .

Key Tasks

  • Demonstrate advanced practice in assessing and treating patients efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure all contract clinical reports and referrer letters are completed to an acceptable standard within contracted timeframes.
  • Liaise effectively with consultants, family doctors, case managers, coordinators, and allied health professionals.
  • Provide support, supervision, and training to new graduate physiotherapists and students as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Engage in team meetings, quality audits, case discussions, and internal education to enhance quality of work and client outcomes.

We’re a fun, active bunch who enjoy the great outdoors, from mountain biking and hiking to hitting the beach. Our modern clinic is based in the CBD, featuring six treatment rooms and a large rehab gym. With 12 passionate staff working both in the clinic and out in the community, you’ll find a supportive and welcoming environment.

Benefits Of Joining TBI Health

  • Competitive salary and bonus structure
  • Access to a shared pool vehicle
  • Annual 2% contribution to your career development and further qualifications

  • Subsidised health insurance with Southern Cross Insurance (working 20 or more hours)
