About the role

Our Land Development team in Tauranga continues to grow, and we’re on the lookout for experienced Senior Civil Design Engineers or Technicians who are keen to make an impact. If you're looking to lead major projects, bring your 12D design skills and project management expertise to the table, we'd love to hear from you.

We’ve got a strong pipeline of work across greenfield and brownfield residential developments, infrastructure, and commercial and industrial projects -each one shaping the future of our local communities. You will :

• Provide technical expertise, project management and 12d design solutions to deliver a range of complex civil engineering projects from initial concept design through to construction completion.
• Ensure efficient project delivery while being hands‑on with preliminary designs, supervising detailed designs, calculations, plan and on‑site investigations.
• Maintain existing client relationships and contribute towards business development initiatives such as identifying opportunities and writing proposals to enhance HG’s future project prospects.
• Guide and coach junior team members in an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Play a key role in shaping better urban development for a diverse range of public and private clients across Aotearoa.
