Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi is seeking a vibrant and welcoming Receptionist to be the face of our Whakatane Campus.As our Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact, providing manaaki for our manuhiri (visitors), tauira (students), and kaimahi (staff) in a way that truly reflects our organisational values.

We offer a stimulating teaching, research and professional working environment in one of our three campuses : our main campus in Whakatane, Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Wairoa.This role provides operational administration support services including handling phone and reception enquiries, inwards and outwards correspondence, and co-ordinating administration needs for the office as well as customer service duties.Applicants who have the following are encouraged to apply : A friendly, welcoming, and approachable nature.A relevant business administration, computing, or related level two certificate qualification.At least two years relevant reception or administration experience in a customer service type role.Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of programmes including MS Outlook, Word, Excel to at least an intermediate level.A full clean driver's licence.You will have a knowledge of Tikanga Maori and the ability to communicate at a basic level in Te Reo Maori, or a willingness to improve Te Reo Maori skills beyond basic level.We offer a supportive working environment and welcome candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
