This is the perfect role for someone that would like to grow their career in Technology.

You’ll be part of a larger team of developers, test analysts and application specialists all working together to support a range of interesting applications and tools which support Kiwibank’s anti‑money laundering, tax reporting and reconciliation obligations.

Role requirements and responsibilities :

  • Own the configuration, maintenance, and support of our risk, compliance and external reporting applications.
  • Ensure the platforms are secure, stable & future‑proofed. When necessary, work with the relevant specialist IT teams in the areas of database management, infrastructure deployment and desktop support.
  • Actively contribute to your squad’s documentation and knowledge management.
  • Work with external vendors and service providers, acting as the voice of Kiwibank to provide requirements and influence the delivery outcomes.
  • Provide any necessary on‑call support as part of a roster.
  • Key skills and experience we’re looking for :

  • You have the ability to effectively communicate technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders
  • You've got excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills and you’re someone who regularly looks for ways to deliver the best value.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products and SQL query‑writing skills
  • You enjoy a collaborative approach, working with disparate groups to reach a solution.
  • You can prioritise tasks based on impact value
  • Nice to have :

  • Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., Banking or Finance)
  • Experience in one or more of the following – CRS / AEOI, Tax, AML CFT.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (information technology etc.).
  • Knowledge of change management and disaster recovery procedures.
