Waitaha is continuing to expand and grow and the Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting this expansion.

About the role

We're looking for a skilled and insightful Data Analyst to join our team and turn information into impact. You'll be part of our Senior Management Team support function, collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to deliver data insights that guide service delivery, quality improvement, and strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform organisational planning and reporting.
• Developing dashboards, visualisations, and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring the integrity, privacy, and compliance of all health data systems.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives through accurate insights and evaluation.
• Enhancing data systems and tools that support efficient, evidence‑based decision‑making.

What you'll Bring

(Experience with R, Python, or health datasets such as PHO Performance Programme, NMDS, or PRIMHD would be an advantage).
