What you'll do | Hei mahi

Lead the performance, optimisation, and supplier relationships of our automated systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement during a key transition phase.

• Lead and develop on site team of technical capabilities of automation to maximise system performance.
• Partner with operations and automation suppliers to deliver performance improvements, optimisation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure automated systems consistently meet throughput, efficiency, and functional requirements through proactive planning and monitoring.
• Manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers, providing clear performance updates and alignment.

What you’ll bring | Hei koha

Practical reliability, operations and continuous-improvement experience, plus the analytical and stakeholder skills to drive automation performance in a fast-paced eCommerce dark store environment.

• Proven experience in equipment reliability, maintenance management, and continuous improvement within automation environments in eCommerce.
• Hands-on exposure to automated systems (e.g., Knapp) with strong supplier and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving ability, including Excel modelling, service performance analysis, and clear process documentation.
• Demonstrated success leading technical teams and driving cross-functional change and continuous improvement in matrixed environments.
• A commercial yet detail-focused mindset, with excellent communication, planning, and influencing skills-resilient, organised, and integrity-driven.
