    We are looking for an Associate Civil Engineer to join our dedicated and passionate Transport Infrastructure team based in our brand-new Head Office in Wynyard Quarter, Auckland.

    You'll be part of a team of over 60 civil engineers, project managers and construction professionals working across a wide range of infrastructure projects including :

    • Urban redevelopment and streetscape upgrades
    • Land development
    • Roading and highways
    • Industrial and buildings

      In this role, you will :

    • Lead and be involved in client relationship management, job delivery, proposal preparation, project planning and financial management
    • Work directly with clients and project partners, providing technical direction and design advice across various civil and multi-disciplinary projects
    • Lead design teams, providing technical oversight, training and guidance to junior staff
    • Network, develop and grow relationships with clients, industry groups, and the wider Beca business
    • Mou ake | About you
    • You are a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng or equivalent) with a strong track record of delivering multi-disciplinary land transport infrastructure projects.
    • You bring :

    • Experience leading projects and interacting with clients in land transport infrastructure
    • A broad civil engineering 'generalist' skillset, with significant experience across planning, design, and construction support
    • Expertise in stormwater design, three-waters, utilities, earthworks modelling and site grading, geometric design, pavements, construction monitoring and contract administration
    • Familiarity with local standards, consenting, and regulatory approval processes
    • Proficiency in civil design and modelling software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Open Roads Designer, or 12D
    • A collaborative, can-do attitude and a passion for learning and mentoring others
    • Previous people management experience (advantageous)
    • Experience managing project commercials and working directly with clients
    • A proactive mindset and motivation to deliver great solutionsBonus points if you have experience with utilities, site development, land transport, or projects in Australia or the Pacific.
