Team Members - Meat Processing

Our Silver Fern Farms Finegand Processing Site in Balclutha employs 1200+ Team Members at the height of the season. Located 30 minutes south of Milton, an hour east of Gore, and an hour south of Dunedin, with buses available from Dunedin to Finegand (Balclutha) for most shifts.

Te mahi, our working arrangements :

• Complete your on-the-job training and earn a minimum $28.82 / hr plus extras.
• Usually, 40 hours per week during peak production season, plus overtime opportunities.
• Minimum $43 / hr production overtime rate.
• 8-hour shifts, day shift hours are between 6 : 00am to 4 : 00pm and evening shifts times vary from 4 : 00pm to 1 : 00am.
• All work clothing and safety gear is provided.
