Overview
NHS Highland is seeking a full-time Resilience Manager to support the development of emergency preparedness, response, and recovery across health and care services.
The postholder will contribute specialist knowledge, independent judgement, and technical leadership across a wide range of resilience functions including response and continuity planning, exercise development, and training delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of the Board's Resilience Work Plan.
Support senior managers in meeting their statutory obligations.
Develop and coordinate training and exercises.
Oversee post-incident debriefing and organisational learning.
Analyse and present resilience data and produce clear, actionable reports.
Line manage and deputise for the Head of Resilience as required.
Qualifications
This is a key leadership role requiring strong analytical skills, sound decision-making under pressure, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across NHS Highland and wider partnerships.
Experience in the NHS or a multi-agency setting is desirable.
