A number of our students who are ORS funded are working at lower curriculum levels so we would welcome applications from both primary and secondary trained teachers.
Are you passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference for students?
We are seeking someone whoenjoys working with students, can build positive, learning focused relationships and is able to work as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher with a strong background in supporting ORS-funded learners who require additional support to access their learning.
In this role, you will be able to :
Work closely with teachers, specialists, whanau, and teacher aides to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Provide expertise in numeracy, structured literacy, inclusive practices and student wellbeing.
Bring skills, knowledge, caring and values to the role of the team.
Help identify, understand and plan for the needs of these learners.
Demonstrate experience in working with students in the classroom, assessment and the IEP process.
