  • 72 rostered hours per fortnight

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to come and join NZ Health | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato, Older Persons and Rehabilitation service working at Matariki Continuing Care facility, Te Awamutu.

The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the NZNO agreement. Additional benefits include kiwisaver contributions (if eligible), shift allowances , professional development and wellness support.

About the Service

Matariki is an off-site Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora Inpatient Continuing Care facility focusing on sub-acute care using a rehabilitation model. You will be joining our dedicated interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. We can offer a comprehensive orientation programme and supportive staff development opportunities to extend your skills.

About you

To be considered for this role, you’ll need :

  • Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • A current New Zealand annual practicing certificate
  • A New Zealand work permit
  • New Zealand nursing experience within the older population
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
