Cleaner - Housekeeper

This is why Parklands Care Home located in Christchurch is searching for like-minded Cleaners to join our community. This is a great opportunity to work close to home, avoiding the hustle and bustle of city traffic, and working hours that fit your schedule.

There are 2 positions available :

1. Permanent, part-time role - working 77 hours per 6-week roster cycle. The preferred candidate will work from 7 : 30am – 1 : 30pm, 5.5hrs per day on a 2 on 4 off rotating roster.

2. Casual role - No guaranteed weekly hours. It will be as per the requirement at the care home.

As part of our Housekeeping team, you will help create a homely and healthy place for our residents by providing an exceptional cleaning service. You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society’s most vulnerable.

Where You Will Make an Impact

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning as per the schedule.
• Manage cleaning supplies.
• Ensure residents’ rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting faults or issues to the Household supervisor.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage.
• Treat residents with respect and dignity.
