At Windsor Engineering Group we design, build and maintain mission-critical energy and engineering equipment for our local and global customers.

Our core products and services focus primarily on Energy Plant, (Boilers and Air Heaters), Timber Drying, Industrial Heating and Cooling, Air Movement and Filtration.

We're looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our Service Operations Team.

Here is an opportunity to get involved in varied and interesting project work and learn the skills required to maintain industrial energy plant, gas burners, steam boilers, industrial hot water boilers, industrial air heaters and automated control systems.

Key responsibilities include :

Conducting boiler annual inspections, alarm and functional testing

Combustion analysis and tuning of combustion systems

Routine preventive maintenance of various types of plant equipment

Diagnosis of issues across multiple disciplines

Customer asset management

Perform electrical installations and maintenance

Being available to be part of the after-hours callout roster

We're looking for service technicians experienced in the repair, diagnostics and asset preventive maintenance of machinery.

Our team works within the Auckland region including parts of the Waikato and Northland.

Travel away from home is a requirement at a frequency on average of one week per month and there is the potential of international travel.

Your background and skills :

Trade qualification in Maintenance and Diagnostics, possibly in Automotive, Heavy Deisel or a similar field

Trade certificate or equivalent experience

Experience in the repair, diagnostics and maintenance of machinery and equipment

A proactive approach to health & safety

Must have a valid NZ Driver's license
