  • About the role

    We are currently recruiting for one full-time, permanent pharmacist to join our team.

    This role will be based in Dunedin hospital, rotating through both clinical and dispensary duties as needed.

    You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support acutely unwell patients, contributing to prompt and effective pharmaceutical care.

    This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical decision-making and broaden your hospital pharmacy experience.

    The Dunedin Hospital Pharmacy service provides comprehensive clinical and operational services, including a full Aseptic Production Unit and a broad spectrum of clinical specialties.

    Our pharmacists are valued members of the healthcare team, and you'll be supported to grow your skills in a collaborative environment.

    About you

    You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, brings a team-focused approach, and demonstrates excellent communication and time management skills.

    You will be adaptable, professional, and ready to take on the challenges of a hospital setting.

    Our ideal candidate will have :

    • previous hospital pharmacy experience (preferred, but not essential)
    • registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand under the provisions of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act
    • the legal right to work in New Zealand.
