  • We're seeking an academic with passion and expertise in Leadership to join our dynamic School.

Whether you're an emerging scholar or an established researcher, you'll contribute to shaping the future of Leadership teaching and research at the University of Waikato.

  • In this role, you'll :
  • develop and lead a research programme that delivers high-quality, practice-informed outputs
  • supervise and support postgraduate students at Master's and doctoral levels
  • deliver engaging, research-led teaching in Leadership across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
  • build the University's reputation through publications, conferences, and collaboration with academic and industry partners.You'll work collegially within a supportive academic community, contributing to the School's growth and the professional development of students and peers.

    The range for a Lecturer is $90,125 to $107,452 per year, and for a Senior Lecturer is $110,392 to $128,508 per year.This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week), based at our Hillcrest Campus in Hamilton.For more information, please refer to the Lecturer position description and the Senior Lecturer position description .

  • applications must be submitted through the online portal, emailed applications will not be accepted.You're an academic who is passionate about Leadership - an emerging or established scholar ready to make an impact through innovative teaching, meaningful research, and strong engagement with students and colleagues.You'll hold (or be close to completing) a PhD in Leadership or a related field, bring a developing or proven record of high-quality research and publications, and demonstrate excellence in teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.You'll be committed to research-led teaching, supervision of postgraduate students, and contributing to a collegial, inclusive academic community.
