Technical Service Specialist, New Zealand, Hawke’s Bay – AgroFresh. AgroFresh is a fast-moving, dynamic company delivering near- and post-harvest solutions to improve freshness and quality from harvest to home. Our offerings include digital monitoring and analytics, plant-based coatings, integrated fungicide solutions and packaging enhancements that extend shelf life for fruits and vegetables.
What The Role Delivers
Management of all service activities throughout New Zealand to ensure products and services are delivered in a timely manner, at a competitive cost, and to the full satisfaction of internal and external customers.
Participation in the development of operating strategies for each business unit, monitoring operational efficiency through performance indicators and establishing a culture of continuous improvement.
Work together with the wider NZ team to maximise the potential for all products and services in New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and co-ordinate service activities throughout New Zealand, across all business units
- Define and manage necessary resources to fulfil services efficiently, including recruitment, coordination and management of temporary contractors
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to assist the commercial team in maximizing potential sales
- Perform services (applications, installations, calibrations, fruit testing, etc.) as required
- Develop and maintain training content, ensure all employees and contractors are properly skilled
- Support proper documentation, archiving and compliance to corporate requirements and regional standards
- Manage claims related to service performance issues
- Support inventory management processes throughout New Zealand, including stock counts and management of slow-moving stock
- Responsible for metrics related to service activities and continuous improvement
- Support other operational and commercial activities as required

Experience in Chemical / Agricultural industry, Supply chain or Logistics (3 years+)Proficiency in Microsoft Office at an advanced level (Excel advanced)Analytical & reporting skillsDriver’s LicenseAbility to travel throughout New Zealand as requiredERP software SAP S / 4HANA (preferred, not essential)Why Work Here
