Engineering Trades Assistant

Overview

We're seeking a skilledTrades Assistant with HVAC or mechanical experience to support essential maintenance work across a variety of commercial buildings for our client.

You'll be part of an on-site engineering team responsible for maintaining heating, ventilation, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth daily operations.

Location : Dunedin City

Pay rate :

$30 per hour (paid weekly)

Days :

Monday to Friday, 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm

Responsibilities

Routine maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems

Working within an engineering team to ensure system reliability

Pipework installation, repairs, and modifications

Air filter replacement and cleaning for optimal air quality

Steam and water system maintenance and minor repairs

General building maintenance related to HVAC systems

Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications

HVAC and mechanical experience (heat pumps, motors, filters, pumps)

Pre trade inmechanical, HVAC, automotive or electrical

Previous site experiencein a workshop or construction site

Able to pass pre employment Drug and Alcoholtest, clean MOJ
