The Programme Executive contributes actively to the programme needs of Caregiver Support Services under the Community-Based Support Services (CSS). He / she will be involved in the planning, coordinating and executing of programme events and activities that suit the needs of families of persons with intellectual and developmental needs. CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that responds to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. The programme executive will work in synergy with various direct community services, i.e. Home-based Care Services, Me Too! Club, Special Student Care Centres and Appropriate Adult Services to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.
A proactive thinker, resourceful and responsible team player, he / she works closely with colleagues across MINDS to plan each programme and to guide partners / volunteers / vendors in the smooth delivery of programme activities. He / she will also connect and coordinate with other organisations to execute collaborative, inclusive and client-centric programmes, manage communications and feedback from stakeholders, and conduct outreach activities toother organisations and the community.
Programme and Event Coordination
Conduct needs assessment to support development of programmes based on client / caregivers' needs.
Provide administrative and logistical support for implementation of programmes.
Delivery of programmes that impact our client / caregivers, including programme evaluation.
Resource Management
Take stock of programme resources (hardware and software) and provide updates to supervisor.
Source, guide and coordinate partners / volunteers / vendors in executing assigned events and / or activities.
Stakeholder Relations
Coordinate with internal and external agencies for the execution of assigned events and / or activities.
Manage communications and feedback from stakeholders.
Support outreach efforts to targeted client / caregiver group / s, other organisations and the community.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree with 1- 2 years working experience.
Social Service sector / programme management experience will be an advantage.
Other Information
Willingness to be hands‑on with strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
Empathetic and have a strong Interest towards understanding and serving Persons with Disability and their caregivers.
Demonstrates understanding of and commitment towards MINDS' core values.
Self‑driven and a team player.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
