Mechanical QC Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities

• In-coming inspection of mechanical precision machined parts using various types of high-tech measuring instruments such as Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Faro scanning / profiling instrument and other standard QC tools like verniers, micrometers, etc.
• In-process Inspection of mechanical assemblies, subsystems and Final Inspections of systems
• Assist QA engineer in performing external on-site vendor / contractor QC surveillance checks and audits
• Assist QA engineer to conduct Quality Audits, where required
• Report and resolve non-conformances and Quality issues found during inspections and manage corrective and preventive action reports with vendors and engineering staff to close the issues
• Manage calibration of measuring and inspection test equipment
