- About the Role
- The Integration Analyst plays a pivotal part in our Integration and Delivery team, supporting Te Whatu Ora's mission by maintaining and enhancing critical technology services and enabling seamless API integration for external vendors. This role acts as a bridge between business, technical teams, and vendors—translating integration requirements into effective high-level designs and contributing to the delivery of robust, multi-platform application solutions. With a strong focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement, the role also contributes to the evolution of integration standards and practices, helping Te Whatu Ora deliver secure, scalable, and future-focused digital services across New Zealand's health system.
- About the Team
- The Integration and Delivery team is a collaborative, high-performing group with collective responsibility for maintaining and enhancing Te Whatu Ora's digital integration services. Working across a broad and complex technology landscape that supports critical health services nationwide, the team partners closely with vendors, business units, technical specialists, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and APIs. With a strong culture of shared learning, continuous improvement, and thought leadership, the team plays a key role in shaping integration strategies, supporting 24 / 7 operations, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions that underpin Te Whatu Ora's priorities and digital transformation efforts.
- About you
- You will bring a strong blend of technical aptitude, analytical capability, and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to operate in a complex, multi-platform environment. Your background includes experience supporting integrated application solutions and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences, you communicate complex information with clarity. You thrive in fast-paced, multi-stream environments, demonstrate resilience under pressure, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. With a collaborative approach, a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and the ability to navigate ambiguity, you are a trusted advisor who helps shape effective integration solutions and supports organisational goals.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline, supported by experience in large and complex IT environments.
- A background working within integrated multi-platform environments.
- A basic understanding of integration frameworks, architectural models, and data management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to use and develop your analytical skills, clear communication, and act as an effective liaison between IT and business stakeholders.
- Some experience managing and delivering complex projects or work programmes, influencing outcomes, building strong relationships across teams, and consistently meeting deadlines while managing risk.
