Revenue at Mediaworks is captured in various ways, brought in from multiple channels and sales is the absolute foundation to the success of our business.
It is not always easy to capture and report - as the data comes from multiple sources and the volume is large, so we’re after a Revenue Manager who has their finger on the pulse and can own this part of our business and be our go‑to.
This is an integral role both for our day‑to‑day business and for the future planning of MediaWorks. You'll assist in the construction of our revenue budgets & sales targets, and bring your commercial expertise for modeling out existing or new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate sales teams weekly revenue updates & consolidate for management review.
- Reconcile monthly revenue alongside various month end close processes.
- Analyse monthly revenue data; forming commentary and insights to accompany data.
- Confidently set revenue targets for the business by Market and Sales persons using variables such as growth projections, market share data and client movements.
- Act as finance business partner to; Bookings & Rate card team, Data Team and Sales teams on day‑to‑day activities and projects.
- Liaise with the ‘The Radio Broadcasting Authority’ on any Market Share Results reporting and data.
- Consistently look to deliver better revenue reporting initiatives, both within Finance and with other departments.
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualification in Finance or related field.5+ years experience with revenue accounting, ideally in media or similar industry.Strong analytical skills and able to interpret complex financial data.Ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and influence decision‑makers.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Additionally, experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Tableau or similar is advantageous.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to present financial insights and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of key business performance drivers.About us
