About the Role
As a Nurse Educator, you will support the continuing professional development of nursing staff, facilitate evidence-based learning, and lead initiatives that improve health equity and outcomes.
You'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and evaluating education programmes that prepare our workforce for a diverse and evolving healthcare environment.
This role also provides opportunities to lead quality improvement projects and contribute to strategic nursing development.
This role will be focused on Ward 27, which is Surgical Subspecialties urology, ophthalmology and ENT along with infected orthopaedics.
Hours of work will be 0.3FTE working 24 hours / fortnight.
Hours and days to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
About the Team
You'll be part of the Nga Manu Teka Nursing Practice Development Team, reporting to the Associate Director of Nursing and Lead Nurse Educator and working alongside other senior nurses and educators.
