We seek an innovative and enthusiastic teacher who has a deep interest in the visual arts and the creative industries, as well as in pedagogy, to join our supportive and growing secondary school.

The successful applicant will predominantly teach art in Y7–12, with the opportunity to extend to Y13 in 2027.

The right candidate will be an art and / design teacher with excellent classroom routines, artist model knowledge, and the ability to design and lead our art curriculum development from Y7–13.

Be NZ registered teachers

Be committed to high-quality teaching and learning

Demonstrate a commitment to supporting our school values with integrity of character.

Hold NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (overseas applicants must already have the legal documentation to reside and work in New Zealand).

The terms, conditions and base salary are set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA, 2022–2025).

Actual salary will be confirmed through a salary assessment by Education Payroll once the appointment is made.
