The Building Services Engineer is responsible for the production of discipline specific design and engineering deliverables to support the project.Main purpose of the roleThe Engineer is principally a hands-on design-based role with a degree of team leadership.
The Engineer is responsible for delivering a package of work within a project within their discipline.
Frequent liaison with other disciplines in the design team and the client would be expected.
The engineers are the main interface between senior management and hands-on design.Key AccountabilitiesDevelopment of designs to satisfy the technical specificationProduction of design deliverables throughout the design processChecking of basic design calculationsContribution to design reviews and safety reviewsPreparation of technical specificationsPreparation of installation, commissioning, and operating documentsEnsuring quality and timely delivery of design documentation throughout all phases of the design processCompliance with safety and statutory regulationsDevelop cost effective technical solutionsProvide support during Site surveys, installation and commissioningOccupational Skills And KnowledgeHNC (minimum) in a relevant technical / engineering discipline or demonstrable experienceAssociate membership of a discipline specific engineering institutionEssential Duties and RequirementsKnowledge of the fundamentals within your engineering disciplinePrevious experience in the design of Building Services (inc : Ventilation and piped services)Good understanding of safety legislation and statutory regulationsStrong organisational and interpersonal skillsCommercial awarenessKnowledge and experience of design software (Typically AutoCAD or similar)DesirableDegree Qualified in a relevant technical / engineering disciplineExperience in the nuclear industryManagement of design teams in the technical delivery of projectsManagement of sub-contractorsKnowledge and use of REVIT softwareKnowledge and use of IESVE design softwareConstruction Site experiencePourquoi nous rejoindre ?
