Civil Carpenters

Civil Carpenters to join our growing team, working across multiple exciting construction sites in the Tauranga and Mount Maunganui areas.

With an ongoing pipeline of high-profile civil projects, this role offers long-term job security for the right candidate based on performance.

Your carpentry expertise will be key in supporting the foundational and structural aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

Foundational Work : Construct and install formwork for foundations, including preparing footings and slabs for large-scale infrastructure projects

Structural Carpentry : Build and install structural timber and steel components for roads, bridges, retaining walls, and other civil structures

Reinforcement : Assist with the installation of rebar and other reinforcement within concrete foundations and structures

Formwork : Develop and place formwork for concrete pours, ensuring they are structurally sound and in accordance with project specifications

Material Handling : Measure, cut, and shape timber, metal, and concrete materials to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality finishes

Safety Standards : Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices, maintaining a safe and productive work environment

Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, site supervisors, and other trades to meet project deadlines and deliver quality results on all tasks

Maintenance : Perform routine checks on tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and readiness for daily tasks
