We are seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead our talented and dedicated DC team. Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain, this role will oversee the day-to-day performance of our automated distribution centre, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operations.

About the Role :

  • Lead and inspire a team of 4 direct reports and approximately 20 indirect reports in a predominantly female workforce.
  • The DC operates 6am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday with occasional overtime and weekend work required during peak seasons.
  • Manage daily distribution operations, including the coordination of inbound, outbound, and inventory functions.
  • Oversee and optimise automation systems and conveyors that support order picking and distribution.
  • Act as the operations WMS superuser , driving best practice, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring operational accuracy (exposure to NetSuite WMS highly regarded).
  • Drive operational excellence through efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements and company standards.

What You'll Bring :

  • Proven leadership experience in distribution centre or warehouse operations.
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and build engaged teams.
  • Exposure to working with automation and conveyor systems in a DC environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Exposure to working with WMS systems in a similar role previously. (NetSuite experience highly regarded)
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency, process improvement, and delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
