You will provide top-notch ministerial and parliamentary expertise, delivering high-quality, timely advice and services to Ministers, senior leaders, and staff across NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA).
You'll manage and draft responses to all official, ministerial, and parliamentary requests for information on behalf of NZTA.
We are seeking to appoint at $78,810 per annum.

You Will Also Bring
Knowledge of government machinery, OIA, and Privacy Act
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication in plain English
Ability to manage demanding workloads and priorities under pressure
Sound judgement and risk management
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with or communicating with a Minister's office
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

We are the experts in providing advice and support to the wider organisation on machinery of government and parliamentary processes.
