Masport Territory Manager - Lower South Island

Masport is a long-established, iconic NZ brand that distributes a wide range of outdoor power equipment, parts, and accessories.

We proudly manufacture and distribute local and international brands such as Gravely, Morrison, STENS and Masport throughout speciality and DIY retail customers in New Zealand.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, “can‑do” individual to manage, develop, and ultimately grow all product categories in our business for our Lower South Island Territory.

The successful applicant would need to demonstrate a strong, proven track record of account management and business development in an autonomous sales environment. You must also be a team player, self‑starter, a go‑getter who can work remotely on a monthly call cycle basis selling our products.

You would ideally have a background in selling mechanical or technical products to retail in this or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell our products to our dealer network and DIY retailers.
• Build on and develop new accounts.
• Identify the market demands and product opportunities.
• Demonstrate products and conduct customer training.
• Determine new sales opportunities through inbound lead and follow up with outbound calls and other digital mediums.
• Consistently meet all sales and margin targets.
• Completion of regular reports on customer performance, sales prospects, and market activity.
