Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and protection of NZICC employees, visitors, customers, and assets. This is a hands‑on position that supports the implementation of our security operational plan and procedures in alignment with NZICC's Risk Management Strategy. This is a senior opportunity that enables you to influence and shape security practices in future and support growth within the team.
Your responsibilities will include :
Mōu | About You
You're a vigilant and proactive professional with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to safety. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring a calm, confident approach to incident response and customer service. You'll bring a minimum of 4 years' experience in a Corporate Security related environment as well as a Green COA (Certificate of Approval). Proven operational experience in a diverse and high‑traffic venue as well as experience as a Security Operations Centre Controller and Fire Warden. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, as is a customer focused mindset and an ability to remain composed under pressure.
