Group Financial Reporting Manager

Auckland Council’sGroup Reporting team has an opportunity for a Group Financial Reporting Manager to join the CFO division. This role reports directly to the Group Financial Controller and leads a team of eight.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring Auckland Council Group and related entities deliver transparent, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.

You could expect to work on :

• Leading group-wide financial reporting frameworks and standards
• Managing auditor relationships and overseeing audit processes
• Driving improvements in reporting through data visualisation and clear language
• Leading special projects to enhance reporting across the group

Please note this is a fixed term position until April 2027

This role requires deep expertise in financial reporting and control within large, complex organisations. You will likely have experience in senior finance leadership roles.
